‘Armed, Desperate, Would-Be Cop Killers’ Break In After Shooting At Police

Two suspects, who had shot at sheriff's deputies and attempted to break into cars, broke into a homeowner's house in San Antonio, Texas, looking for a getaway car. The homeowner, Anthony Cardenas, engaged in a hand-to-hand fight with one of the suspects after they took his keys. Eventually, the suspects were caught by deputies, with Sheriff Javier Salazar praising Cardenas for his efforts. The suspects were described as "armed, desperate, would-be cop killers" and hit with multiple charges, including attempted capital murder. Although neither deputy was hurt, the suspects reportedly tried to kill them.
