Army veteran Rick White was shopping at a Manchester Walmart when he heard a woman screaming for help. 51-year-old Rhonda Healey’s wallet had been stolen from her purse, but White, a recently returned Army drill sergeant from Afghanistan, was not about to let the thief get away. The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Alan White who is homeless, was pinned down and subdued by Rick White until police arrived. Healey was grateful for the return of her wallet, and praised the actions of the hero veteran.
