Outback Workers Wish Nobody Saw What They Wrote On Cops’ Receipt
20/06/2023
Four police officers in Louisiana entered an Outback Steakhouse to grab some dinner, and after they finished their meal, they were surprised to find out that the manager and server had picked up their $67 tab. The Slidell-based manager Arline Wood and server Zoe Rao left a heartwarming note on the receipt thanking the officers for their service to the community. Although the act of kindness was posted on social media by the city's police department and received a lot of attention, Wood and Rao had not intended it to go viral. They hope their actions will inspire others to show appreciation to law enforcement officers.
