Insiders at ABC report that the network had to terminate Sunny Hostin's contract due to legal problems surrounding "The View." ABC Lead Counsel Joe Barron stated that Hostin was a liability, prone to outbursts and causing issues on the show. Hostin's spokesperson claims she was playing the part she was hired to play as an angry liberal. However, Barron cites instances of excessive swearing, disruptive behavior towards co-host Meghan McCain, and a wardrobe malfunction as reasons for termination. Hostin can stay on for a couple of weeks until she finds something else. There is no news yet on who might replace her on the show.
