Belgian TikToker David Baerten, along with his wife and children, faked his own death and surprised loved ones by showing up to his own funeral via helicopter. One of his children posted a tribute on social media, and dozens of friends and family members dressed in black attended the fake funeral. Baerten hopped out of the helicopter and greeted his mourners, some of whom were relieved at his return while others were confused. Baerten did the prank to show loved ones that they shouldn't wait until someone is dead to meet up with them. He claims some loved ones have since reached out to him, proving who really cares about him.
