Girls Freeze During Soccer Game As They Hear Unmistakable Sound
26/06/2023
During a high school soccer game at Siebel Soccer Park in Great Falls, Montana, both teams stopped playing when they heard the national anthem playing at Malmstrom Air Force Base across the street. This has become a tradition for the teams whenever they hear the anthem during practice. The girls turned towards the flag with their hands over their hearts and paid respect to the servicemembers. CM Russell High School girls soccer coach Willie Pyette started this tradition to honor those who fought for our freedom and it will continue as long as soccer games are played in the afternoon at Siebel Soccer Park. It's a reminder that even kids know how to do the right thing.
