In the anime series Naruto, the Second Hokage Tobirama Senju is known for his mastery of forbidden jutsu. He created several powerful techniques that had a profound impact on the ninja world, such as the Explosive Tag Multiplication Jutsu, Flying Thunder God Technique, Shadow Clone Jutsu, and the Reanimation Jutsu. The Reanimation Jutsu, also known as the Impure World Reincarnation, played a significant role in the Fourth Great Ninja War. However, Tobirama never directly used this jutsu in the storyline. The opportunity to use it on Orochimaru's body was interrupted by the sudden appearance of the Sage of Six Paths. Therefore, very few characters in Naruto have witnessed Tobirama using the Reanimation Jutsu. One of those characters is Chiyo, a sand village elder. After being reanimated, she commented on Tobirama's impressive skill in reanimation, comparing it to the larger number of reanimated shinobi in the war. Another character who witnessed Tobirama's jutsu is the Second Tsuchikage. He expressed his disdain for the Reanimation Jutsu, calling it a despicable technique. It can be assumed that Tobirama's elder brother, the First Hokage Hashirama Senju, also witnessed his brother's use of the jutsu. The Gold and Silver Brothers from the Hidden Cloud Village also knew about Tobirama's jutsu after being reanimated. It is unclear whether they witnessed it during the battle between Konoha and the Cloud Village or during the coup at the Five Kage Summit. While there is no scene showing Madara Uchiha witnessing Tobirama's use of the Reanimation Jutsu, his understanding of the jutsu suggests that he may have seen it or studied its information. As only Tobirama, Orochimaru, and Kabuto used the Reanimation Jutsu in the series, and even Kabuto, who inherited Orochimaru's knowledge, didn't know about the method to release the controlled dead, Madara's knowledge could only come from Tobirama.
