Grandfather Of Teen Killed During Burglary Says AR-15 Made Fight ‘Unfair’
29/06/2023

Three Oklahoma teenagers were killed after breaking into a home and encountering the homeowner's son armed with an AR-15 rifle. The grandfather of one of the slain burglars, Leroy Schumacher, expressed his opinion on the incident, stating that even though his grandson was involved in burglary, his death was unjustified. Schumacher believed that the homeowner's son had an unfair advantage with the AR-15 and that death was not an appropriate consequence for the teens. The burglary was orchestrated by Elizabeth Rodriguez, who was arrested and charged. Authorities determined that the homeowner's son acted in self-defense and did not press charges against him. While Schumacher supports the Second Amendment, he disagrees with killing intruders and hopes others can learn from this tragic event.
