Lily-Rose Depp, the daughter of famous actor Johnny Depp, could not contain her pride when speaking virtually from the Cannes Film Festival. She expressed her joy over the seven-minute standing ovation her father received after the premiere of his latest film, Jeanne du Barry. The biographical drama, set in the 18th century, portrays Johnny as King Louis XV and tells the story of Jeanne Bécu's rise from an impoverished seamstress to the last official mistress of the king.
Lily-Rose couldn't help but gush about her father's success, saying, "I'm super happy for him. I'm super excited. And it's so awesome that we get to do projects that we're super proud of." The actress also received her own standing ovation after a screening of her new HBO drama series, The Idol.
